6 TEACHER APPRECIATION GIFT CARD IDEAS WITH FREE PRINTABLES

Teachers deserve to be celebrated for all the hard work that they do. Teacher Appreciation week is coming up during the first week in May. When asked, every teacher said that gift cards are the best gift option. So why not give them what they truly want? You can still spruce up giving a gift card with inexpensive items.

Here are 6 creative ways to package the gift cards for those special teachers. All gift tags are FREE to print at home or send out to print at a print and copy store. It is recommended that you print on cardstock paper.

THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME GROW

The options are endless with this idea. Grab any flower or plant from your local home improvement store or nursery. Succulents make a great option too since they don’t have to be watered as much. We found these watering cans from the Target dollar spot and added a cute yellow flower to the inside from a Lowes.

YOU DESERVE A BREAK – DINNER AND DISHES ON US

We are in the home stretch of the school year with about a month to go. Teachers are probably feeling it too! This would be a great gift idea to give them a night off from cooking AND DISHES! We found these cute paper plates and napkins at Target in the party section. You could even at silverware and/or cups too.

TO A TEACHER THAT I ADORE

All teachers love a craft store and probably visit frequently. They likely use a lot of their own money to buy supplies for their classroom too. So, give them a gift card to a local craft store like Hobby Lobby or Michaels and package with a cute item. We found these bubble gum jars at Hobby Lobby and added some Godiva chocolate to the inside.

HERE’S THE SCOOP

Ice cream is a staple in the spring and summer. Give a gift card to a local ice cream restaurant and place inside a pint container with sprinkles and a scoop.

JUST POPPIN’ BY TO SAY THANK YOU

Give your teacher a fun gift with a sample variety of popcorn flavors and a gift card. We have a local popcorn store called Poptique that sells a ton of popcorn flavors. My favorites are the frosted cinnamon roll and tuxedo caramel flavors. They offer pre-package popcorn gifts for any occasion. You can shop online and ship too.

STARBUCKS CUP OF GRATITUDE

Last but not least is the Starbucks gift card option. Just ask for an additional empty frappuccino cup when purchasing your gift card. We filled ours with shredded paper and added a reusable straw to the cup.

Please share with us your favorite teacher gift card idea in the comments and we would love to get new ideas.

If you are a teacher reading this…. Thank you for your dedication and pouring your heart and soul into our children. Thank you for using your gift to help others. The world is a better place because of YOU!
