Easter Themed Breakfast Ideas For Kids

Hippity hoppity Easter is on its way!  When I was young, there were so many specials memories from Easter morning including getting dressed up and going to Church to enjoying a special morning breakfast.  It is a time to be with family and celebrate the true reason for the season.  However, we do love some fun themed Easter food too.  Check out these easy, fun breakfast ideas below to recreate for your family.

With pancakes molds of all shapes and sizes, breakfast has never been so much fun.  I can’t begin to tell you just how many we have and cookie cutters work as molds too.  Pancake batter pens will be your new best friend when using molds, you’re welcome.  Go ahead and order one now from amazon.

But don’t worry this first fun idea doesn’t require any molds.  It is what I like to call the bunny tail pancakes.  It is basically the backside of the bunny from the ears, body, and paws to the whipped cream tail.  What you will need is pancake mix, bananas, chocolate chips, and whipped cream.

Next up actually involves waffles instead of pancakes.  This one made my two year old want to hug it instead of eat it.  I was almost worried for a minute that he won’t eat it.  All you will need for this bunny is waffles, strawberries, bananas, blueberries, and carrots.

This last one is NEW even to Pinterest.  Well not for long!  We made egg shaped colored pancakes with a cookie cutter.  Then each boy got to use a candy writer to design his own Easter egg.  I had 6 different colors of candy writers that just need heated up in a bowl of hot water.  I found these at a local bakery supplies shop and love dreaming up ways to use them.

What do you make for Easter morning or share at brunch?  I really enjoy themed food ideas so comment below with yours.

HAPPY EASTER! REMEMBERING THE TRUE MEANING OF THIS DAY.
