YOU’VE BEEN BOOZED WITH FREE PRINTABLE

Who says that the kids get to have all the fun! If you were around for a recent post you saw the ‘You’ve Been BOOed’ baskets that we put together for our neighbors with the FREE printable signs. Our boys had such a great time secretly delivering them to neighbor friends and I hope they enjoyed them just as much we did. However, the fun doesn’t have to stop there.

The adults can join in with an adult only version of ‘You’ve Been Boozed’. Instead of candy and Halloween treats for the whole family, replace it with bottles of wine, margarita mix, vodka, or whatever you choose.

HOW IT WORKS

You probably have been ‘BOOed” before, right? The boys love it when this happens and eagerly run to the door to see what was left for them. The tradition is easy to understand. Once you have been ‘BOOed’ make 2 copies of the instructions and ‘We’ve Been BOOed” signs. Then post the original ‘We’ve Been BOOed’ sign in your front window so other neighbors know that you have already been BOOed. Next make up two more baskets with treats and/or small trinkets to pass on to two new neighbors. For ideas on what to include in your basket check out this recent post. So an adult only twist to this tradition is to replace the treats and trinkets with bottles of an alcoholic drink of choice.

BASKET IDEAS

Once you decide on the type of alcohol and add the bottle tag then it is time to get creative. Of course you could just do the bottle and that would be perfectly okay but you could also add a few items to go with it. Here is a list of ideas that you can add to your basket with the bottle of alcohol.

  • Wine Opener
  • Wine Glasses
  • Bottle Opener
  • Beer Mug
  • Koozie
  • Mule Mug
  • Bottle Topper
  • Coasters
  • Adult Game
  • Ice Cube Molds
  • Chocolate Pairing
  • Beverage Napkins
  • Witch Hat or Headband
  • Drink Charms

FREE PRINTABLES

To help you start this idea in your neighborhood, I included FREE printable tags and signs for you to use. Just download and print. For the bottle tag, cut along the white outside line of each tag, make a hole in the middle of the web, and fold at dashed line.

We hope you enjoy this idea and spread the Halloween spirit around to friends and neighbors too.
